Terms & Conditions

1. Minimum age

1.1. The minimum age of a member is 16. Anybody who is under the age of 16 but over the age of 14 and wishes to join must have the written consent of a parent/guardian and also the written consent of a medical professional.

2. Cancelling membership

2.1. A membership may not be cancelled before the minimum time period.

2.2. After the minimum time period the membership remains an active Urban Bootcamp membership, and the member will not need to join again, hence the payments will continue to be withdrawn.

2.3. To cancel the membership, the member must inform Urban Bootcamp in writing two weeks in advance of cancelling their membership. This must be in the form of an email sent to team@urbanbootcamp.com.au outlining the persons intention to cease payments from an intended date (which must fall after the minimum period). Any other forms of notification will not be accepted.

2.4. There will be no refunds to a member for any reason after payment has been made.

2.5. If membership is cancelled due to unavoidable reasons (ie. pregnancy, health issues) and this falls before the minimum time period, the person will be charged for time they have been an Urban Bootcamp member for at the price of the current 6 week membership rate. eg. If a member is on a 6 month membership paying $27.50 per week, and chooses to cancel their membership after 8 weeks, they will be backcharged for the 8 weeks at a rate of $38.50 per week, which is a difference of $11 per week. Therefore their cost to cancel membership will be $88.

3. Failed payments

3.1. Failed payments will incur a fee which will be added to the next successful payment. This cost will vary depending on the charges imposed by the Direct Debit company controlling the debit from the members account or credit card.

4. Wet Weather

4.1. As sessions are held outdoors, weather is uncontrollable, and training sessions will run in rain unless the weather is deemed dangerous due to hail or lightning.

4.2. Sessions that are washed out due to rain will not be compensated for, unless a whole week of training has been cancelled by Urban Bootcamp.

5. Session attendance, freezing membership and Public holidays

5.1. Members are entitled to attend all sessions they have signed up for and are encouraged not to miss any sessions.

5.2. As memberships are broken down into weekly payments, Urban Bootcamp will not compensate members who do not show up to sessions they have paid for. However members have the opportunity to place their membership on hold in advance if they have a medical condition.

5.3. Urban Bootcamp is closed on Public Holidays, hence training sessions will not be run on Public holidays and will also not be compensated for.

5.4. Placing a membership on hold will incur an admin fee of $10 (ten dollars) per month. The minimum cost for freezing a membership for any time period is $10 (ten dollars), therefore if the membership is frozen for less than one month, the member will still be charged the $10 admin fee.
